Fairfield St & Marlborough StI'm looking for information about a curb replacement project happening in front of my house at 12 Fairfield at the intersection of Fairfield and Marlborough. The project is removing >20 feet of historic brick sidewalk. I was not notified about the project and the crew originally stated they would be replacing "like with like" but then began filling the sections they said would be restored to brick with concrete sidewalk. The first picture is the original curb. The second picture is the curb after an initial concrete pour, when the crew said it the other sections would be restored with brick and that the far low concrete pour near the tree was a base for replacement brick. The final picture is a second pour that happened yesterday, filling in these brick locations with concrete. The crew said "the engineer told us to pour concrete" when asked what had changed since the prior day. I am unable to find any permits or designs. This project is not part of Back Bay or Boston Mobility or "State of Good Repair" projects, according to those offices.
