72 Savin Hill Ave, Dorchester, Ma, 02125This is the exact same problem from 2 days ago and happens every time the city does construction on the Dot Ave side of the bridge or OTB. It would literally take someone 30 seconds to look around, figure out the traffic flow and move the detour signs to the right places for the day or period of work on the one way street networks. It looks like the construction zone has moved up Sagamore to Belfort or Sudan, but Sagamore is still closed at Savin Hill Ave. This sign should either be at Elton or Belfort. I don't think BPD officers are necessary to manage traffic, but if they can't put the detours in the right places, it's my understanding that MA State law requires there to be two officers at active detour locations and construction zones. I've forwarded more photos to the Columbia Savin Hill Civic Association. It's 5 years of the exact same problem. I just want to be able to go to the supermarket or take my dog to park and not have to worry if I can get home or not.
