Illegal Parking
Intersection Of Kelton St And Scottfield Rd, Allston, MaI am writing to report an ongoing parking issue in the Allston area near Brainerd Rd, Kelton St, and Commonwealth Ave. Multiple public on-street parking spaces in resident-permit zones are being blocked with chairs to reserve spots. These chairs are preventing permitted residents from parking legally. The area is already fully packed with cars, and even under normal conditions it is very difficult to find a parking spot with a resident permit. Yesterday, it took me over one hour to find parking despite having a valid resident permit. The use of chairs to block spaces makes an already difficult situation much worse. Thank you for your attention to this matter.
