Request New Markings
Centre St & Paul Gore StThe intersection of Paul Gore St and Center St in Jamaica Plain has very serious traffic issues when it comes to pedestrian safety. This is a highly used intersection for pedestrians, many with children, as we move about our neighborhood to get to schools, grocery stores, public transit, ect I live on Paul Gore and almost everyone on my street has a story of almost getting hit by a driver, including myself and my family which includes young children. A blinking pedestrian sign has been put up but it's clear it is not working, and the city needs to implement stronger traffic calming measures and possibly even a stoplight. Please consider this a priority.
