  • Illegal Parking

10 Elm Hill Park, Dorchester, Ma, 02121

Issue Type: Parking Enforcement / Snow Removal Obstruction Location: Elm Hill Park Description: I am reporting an ongoing parking enforcement issue that is repeatedly impacting snow removal in the cul-de-sac where I live. Vehicles continue to park in clearly posted no-parking zones, despite prior complaints and requests for enforcement. During the February 23, 2026 blizzard, illegally parked vehicles prevented snow plows from fully clearing the cul-de-sac. This left significant snow accumulation, restricted access, and prevented residents from safely driving their vehicles in and out of the area. This is a recurring problem and presents a public safety concern during snow emergencies, particularly for emergency vehicle access and resident mobility. Requested Action: Immediate enforcement of posted no-parking zones Ticketing and towing of vehicles blocking snow removal during storms Increased monitoring of this location during future snow events Please confirm receipt of this request and advise what steps will be taken to ensure this issue does not continue.
