    I have not had functioning heat units in my apartment since 1/25. I notified my landlord on the morning of 1/26 when I noticed the heat wasn't working. The handyman came that morning to look at things, he wasn't able to fix it and eventually that day I was provided a space heater. On 1/27, my landlord told a technician was coming that Friday (1/30). On 1/30 I was told they needed to order a part. On 2/2, my landlord said she was trying to line up a technician to install the part. On 2/3, I was told that the manufacter sent the wrong part. I expressed my fustration with my landlord that it was taking this long to fix the heat, and her response was basically "this is just how long it takes". It took her until 2/3 to offer me "an open VBRO on the 3rd floor", and I declined because it doesn't solve the probem in my unit and I don't trust that she wouldn't try and charge me for it somehow. It shouldn't have taken her from 1/25 until 2/3 to offer me a temporary solution.
