Fallen Tree or Branches
24 Sachem St, Boston, MA 02120Tree branches resting on overhead utility wires — backyard safety concern 24 Sachem Street. Several tree branches in the backyard are fallen/resting directly on and intertwined with the overhead utility wires. As shown in the attached photos, some of the branches appear to be putting sustained contact/pressure on the utility bundle. I am concerned that continued tree growth, wind, rain, snow, or a falling limb could damage the lines or cause them to come down. Please inspect the condition and route this to the appropriate utility company or City department so the branches can be safely cleared from the wires. Because the branches are already in direct contact with the lines, I do not want to attempt to cut or remove them myself. Location: Backyard/rear utility lines behind the property. Three photographs are attached showing the branches contacting the wires.
