My name is Roseberline Merisier and right now me and my 8 years old son are sleeping in the living room because my power has been shut off. Even though I make I let the eversource know that I just applied for assistance and I was making sure I’m paying little by little. I’m writing this right now crying because it’s really cold in this house and as a mother I give my son both the blanket so he is not cold. I try to explain to them the reason why I’m so behind is because I had to help my mother out she would’ve been dead by now due to gang violence back in my country. I had to relocate her multiple time and old had to pay for all her medical costs by myself because in Haiti they don’t have insurance and if you don’t pay upfront they will not look at you.
