193-197 W Sixth St, Boston, MA 02127Hello, I’m a resident at 193 W 6th Street in South Boston. There is active water/sewer construction in front of my home, and the excavation is currently covered by large steel road plates. The plates are not seated or secured properly. Every time a car or bus passes over them, they produce an extremely loud bang – it sounds and feels like an explosion, and it shakes the house. This is happening around the clock and is making it impossible to sleep. Could someone please have the contractor secure the plates – so they stop shifting under traffic? I’d appreciate this being addressed as soon as possible. Thank you!
