Intersection Of W Walnut Park And Amory St, Roxbury, MaCrosswalk requested at Amory Street and W Walnut Park in JP/Roxbury. Construction is currently going on to update the accessibility ramps at the curb cuts on W Walnut Park. I wanted to request a crosswalk both across W Walnut park and connecting W Walnut Park, across Amory, to Holtzer Park Apartments. There is so much foot traffic there and it would be great to have crosswalks there to protect the people who commute by foot and the soon to be people who will be moving into the apartments being built. I spoke with the construction crew and they said a light may need to be installed because of the line of sign (there is a curve that makes it hard to see people) and also cars are street parked and it is very dangerous to see traffic coming down Amory towards Atherton.
