I am writing to report a severe public health and sanitation violation in the backyard of the property located at 366 East 8th Street, South Boston. The residents do not clean up accumulated dog feces from the backyard. When they do gather it, it is stored in an open, uncovered bucket left outdoors on the property. The accumulation has created an overwhelming, hazardous stench that can be smelled from 50+ feet away, penetrating neighboring properties and preventing nearby residents from using their outdoor spaces. This open, decaying animal waste creates a severe public health hazard by attracting flies, rats, and other vermin to a set of tightly packed row houses. Please route this to the Inspectional Services Department (ISD) / Environmental Health division to investigate the unsanitary conditions, vector hazards, and improper waste storage.

I am writing to report a severe, ongoing residential noise nuisance originating from the property at 366 East 8th Street, South Boston. This has been a nonstop issue for over six months now and has yet to be resolved. If anything, it has only gotten worse. Multiple complaints have been submitted from a number of different neighbors in the vicinity. Two dogs (one brown Doberman, one blonde mutt) are left barking relentlessly, creating a severe neighborhood disturbance. The animals bark continuously during the day and deep into legal city quiet hours (11:00 PM – 7:00 AM). The barking is often nonstop and occurs for uninterrupted periods lasting hours at a time. The volume of the barking easily exceeds city residential decibel limits and is clearly audible from the street and surrounding properties, disrupting the peace of the immediate neighborhood.
