Dear Boston Public Works Department, I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to formally report a serious issue involving a sanitation worker assigned to the Dorchester area, specifically near 624 Blue Hill Avenue. Over the past several days, a city trash barrel located in front of our business has been used by pedestrians, as expected in a public setting. However, the sanitation worker servicing this area has repeatedly accused our business of overfilling the barrel. This accusation is incorrect, as we do not use that public trash can for our business waste. On Sunday, March 22nd at approximately 4:36 PM, the situation escalated significantly. The sanitation worker removed trash from the public barrel and intentionally dumped it into the backyard of our business, creating a mess and disrupting our operations. This behavior is highly unprofessional and unacceptable. We have video evidence documenting this incident and are prepared to provide it upon request. This situation is affecting our business operations, sanitation conditions, and overall environment. We respectfully request: - An immediate investigation into this matter - Identification of the employee involved - Assurance that this behavior will stop immediately We value the work that Boston’s sanitation team does for the community, but this type of conduct is not acceptable and needs to be addressed promptly. Please confirm receipt of this complaint and provide a case number for follow-up. Thank you for your attention to this matter. Sincerely, Hamer Pimentel La Esquina Sandwich Shop 624 Blue Hill Ave Dorchester, MA
