Huge Pothole on State St and India Row. Pothole 5 times as big as my size 13 sneakers.

A representative of the developer/builder at 7 Glenmore St. recently came to our condo and stated that our building is allegedly encroaching approximately four feet onto their property. We requested that they provide an official, stamped land survey to substantiate this claim. No survey, written documentation, or official notice has ever been provided. Since that interaction, excavation work has occurred directly along our shared property boundary. The excavation was performed so close to our structure that the existing fence separating the properties collapsed due to removal of supporting soil. There is now an immediate vertical drop of approximately six feet directly adjacent to our residential building. I am extremely concerned that this excavation may have compromised the stability of the soil supporting our foundation and presents a serious safety hazard to occupants and pets. The excavation area appears to be unprotected and does not appear to have proper shoring, shielding, sloping, fencing, or fall-protection barriers in place. The construction site directly borders an occupied residential structure, and there is currently an open excavation immediately adjacent to our building. I am requesting an immediate inspection to assess excavation safety, soil stability, and protection of adjacent structures.
