Hi, We have a noisy manhole cover in front of our apartment building on Centre Street in Jamaica Plain. The manhole belongs to National Grid. It says "GAS" on the cover and there is also a little yellow button close by. National Grid was putting in a new line on Centre Street this summer and I think they installed this manhole as part of the work. The manhole has come somewhat loose perhaps, or maybe some debris got stuck in it. In any case, it clangs and clatters every time a car drives over it. We understand that the street can't be completely quiet, but it's super annoying for the residents whose units face the street. We would appreciate it if someone can take a look. Something isn't quite right with how it is sitting in the hole. Hopefully they can just clean it up and it will be silent again! I appreciate your time, JP Resident

City of boston planted two new trees on east third, but none of the neighboring homes have water spigots to water them — can the city of boston come out at every other week or even monthly to add water to the bags to keep them alive? I can try to fill them in between. Otherwise they are just going to keep dying the city will have to keep replacing them every year which has been what is happening
