Overflowing Trash
Harrison Ave & Oak StNew trash cans installed on corner of Oak and Harrison st in Chinatown allow seagulls to get in and pull out trash scattering it across the street attracting cockroaches and rats. The trash then ends up in the drainage and ultimately into the ocean. The old cans did not have this problem. Please see photos below. The seagulls get really bad at night calling other seagulls non stop all night. Really defeats the purpose of a trash can if all the trash get pulled out by seagulls and scattered across the street poluting the water and making the streets filthy. Thanks for reading this and I hope something can be done to address this problem.
