ISD BUILDING COMPLAINT: VIOLATION OF STATE BUILDING CODE 780 CMR Section 3307 (PROTECTION OF ADJOINING PROPERTY) (FAILURE TO PULL PERMIT for regrading). Contractor failed to provide the mandatory 10-day written notification under 780 CMR 3307.1 prior to beginning excavation. Mr. Michael Okafor (ISD Supervisor) instructed me to file this complaint after he took information from me via phone. He did not find a permit pulled for regrading the parking lot at 1409 River St, Hyde Park, 02136. My property is located at 126 Child St, Hyde Park, 02136. They raised it 6 feet up to the top of my and my neighbor's fences. We have safety, structural damage and property value concerns. Our 2 unit townhouse structure shook so much that the TV nearly fell off the table. My neighbors and I have never seen anything like this anywhere. We had no public notice/hearing of the details surrounding this project.

Boston Public Works littering the street! BPW came to remove the tarp covering the scaffolding (presumably because the impending storm), but left all the plastic ties that were securing the tarp scattered on the street! Was it so difficult to clean up the trash that BPW workers created?! Nice way to set the example!

Trash that was dumped here not by the property owners. A mattress that was here yesterday is gone, but has been replaced with this stuff.
