Graffiti Removal
Following up on a previous report, screenshot of report included. As a precursor to the report I’d like it to be stated that 1. the concerns about the condition of our neighborhood have been brought to the city many times. 2. 311 and 911 are the tools we have been given to address issues. 3. We do not think this is an adequate solution and plan to address it further. The goal of this, and therefore these reports is to improve the conditions of our neighborhood for everyone, it’s bad enough that these solutions only address issues AFTER they occur. It is made worse when these solutions are fractured and do not address the goal of improving the neighborhood. To wit, I am dumbfounded that the response to graffiti on this box was to spray over only the graffiti’d area, in a different color than the box itself. This looks as bad and careless as the underlying graffiti and is completely unacceptable. Remove residual tape from the box, and repaint it properly!
