Illegal Parking
436 440 Western Ave, Brighton, Ma, 02135Heard there’s actually going to be enforcement for people parking in bike lanes. Pic is what Western Ave looks like in front of Big Daddy’s at night, Pavement in the morning, Speedway on the weekends/evenings, daycare morning and evening, and Trader Joe’s all the time. I do not bike the corridor any more because it’s too dangerous but plenty of people still do and it’s just a matter of time before a deadly accident (thankfully the one I actually saw happen earlier this summer wasn’t deadly though the cyclist did seem badly injured). Enforcement for all the illegal parking will def help, though actual separated lanes would be ideal.
