Pruning Request
Birchwood St & Washington StI am a member of the condominium association and a resident of the condominiums located at 5269–5273 Washington Street, West Roxbury. Our parking lot is directly behind Draper Pool. We are requesting that the City inspect and trim a City-owned pine tree located just outside our property fence along the parking lot. The tree is continuously releasing large amounts of pine sap, which drips onto residents’ vehicles parked in our lot. The sap is causing damage to vehicle paint and has resulted in ongoing complaints from multiple condominium owners. This has been an ongoing issue for quite some time and continues to affect residents’ property. Because the tree is maintained by the City of Boston, we respectfully request that the Parks Department inspect the tree and schedule the necessary pruning or trimming to prevent further damage to residents’ vehicles. Photos are attached for reference. Thank you for your attention to this matter.
