big pothole

Toxic odors coming from 48 LANARK ROAD waste storage area and parking garage that contains an old shed in BRIGHTON,MA 02135 and surrounding properties along this street during this rain storm.The odors have made me and my family nauseus and need to be contained. I’m writing regarding the overnight construction at 255 St. Botolph St. I am aware that this overnight construction has a permit from the city, and am asking you to reevaluate that because I believe it is based on a wrong and unethical evaluation of priority. I heard that the city gave permission for overnight constructions because they cannot afford to close down the street during the day. 1. About 5 cars use the street per minute during the day, not as many as your everyday street. 2. Bigger streets like Huntington Ave have been fully or partially shut down in the past due to construction, according to my knowledge. 3. As long as you place the signs in the right places, the drivers lose only two minutes or so taking a detour through another street. 4. Even if you don’t place the signs in the right places (which I trust will not be the case) the drivers lose only five minutes or so. 5. This is a residential street, with NEC and northeastern dorms, and the NEC residence has I believe around or over 300 people living there. These people lose hours of sleep, and it’s been happening for a month. That causes health issues. Shutting down the street during the day doesn’t. Please reevaluate accordingly and escalate this issue if you can’t do anything about it.
