The steps down into the main entrance of the John D O'Bryant School of Math and Science are broken and unsafe. The metal edging is off in many places making the steps uneven. Where the metal is missing there are screws sticking up from the concrete making it even more irregular. It has been this way at least the last 4 years my child has been a student there. There is a longer ramp you can use to the side but most people who are able will use the steps and it is really a hazard. It also impacts first impressions of the school and contributes to a feeling of neglect for the students and community. Attaching a picture I took today but it really doesn't capture it fully. Will send more next time I'm there. I know there are many things that need to be fixed in the school and in other schools but hoping you can address this one to help make the coming and going safer for students, staff and families here.
