You close the case for Copeland Place yet my neighbors called as well and we’re told there would be a plow and salt truck and we still have only seen the tractor with a giant tires that press all the snow down Copeland Place needs a plow and rock salt. Last little bit of snow you left half a truck load of rock salt on our grass and now we can’t get a street worth

Intersection Of Verdun St And Gallivan Blvd, Dorchester, Ma

I don’t know who the state or city contracts to plow Gallivan Blvd but piling 6 feet of snow at every street corner coming out to a main road like Gallivan Blvd is idiotic and dangerous. Cars pulling out can’t see traffic coming either way, people walking on the sidewalks are concealed by 6 feet of snow. Resident’s driveways this morning were barricaded with 4 feet of snow. Not the light fluffy snow, the wet compacted snow that was pushed all throughout Gallivan Blvd. Some people here are lucky enough to have family or friends with plows. Others aren’t as fortunate and probably don’t have the funds to pay for someone to come by and clear 4 feet of wet snow away from their driveways. The state or city even contracts to have the sidewalks “cleared”. One bobcat pushing and compacting snow makes it no easier for residents and no safer for pedestrians. If someone with a brain and authority could just take a drive up and down Gallivan Blvd to see the foolishness and ill regard to the safety of the residents of the city and actually get something done immediately an correctly.
