131 Dartmouth St, Boston, MA 02116Mr. Eng and MBTA Board Daily ongoing issue at MBTA Back Bay Station: An individual has been occupying the station, including sleeping and conducting personal activities, for more than two years. The pattern occurs during early morning hours (approximately 5:30–7:00 a.m.) and evening hours (approximately 9:00–11:00 p.m.). The women’s restroom, including the ADA stall, is repeatedly occupied for extended periods, leaving health hazard items on the stall floor, limiting access for passengers and creating ongoing health and sanitation concerns. With the commuter rail lobby restricted due to renovations, this is also impacting station operations and construction activities. What is the long-term plan for addressing this recurring health and safety issue and ensuring ADA access, sanitation, and proper use of station facilities?

Talbot Ave & Westcott StCrosswalk needed for senior residents at Talbot Bernard Senior Home to get to the Talbot Ave commuter rail stop. I have been told by residents for years that they have been requesting a crosswalk here (and I have requested as well) and there have been many councilors and representative that have promised to work on it but no progress has been made. It is unsafe for our seniors and doesn’t make any sense for them to walk to the end of the block and back to get to this stop that is right across the street from them.
