    I live on Melvin Avenue, and this morning around 6 a.m. I was walking my dog when two huge rats ran out from under a city trash barrel. They disappeared under the steps of the building next door. I’ve lived here for a few years and have never seen anything like that. A few of my neighbors have also mentioned they’re waiting until the morning of trash pickup to put their garbage out because rats keep ripping the bags open overnight. Something really needs to be done.
