Sunday, August 30, 2026 – 12:26 AM Location: 1252 Washington Street, in front of Alex’s Pizza Vehicles are illegally parked in the designated bus/bike lane directly in front of Alex’s Pizza at 1252 Washington Street. The attached photo shows an MBTA bus being forced out of its designated lane and maneuvering around the illegally parked vehicles. The same photograph also clearly shows available legal curbside parking nearby, yet the vehicles are occupying and obstructing the dedicated transit/bike lane. This obstruction is directly interfering with MBTA operations and creates a safety concern for buses, cyclists, motorists, and other roadway users. Photo documentation is attached showing the MBTA bus maneuvering around the obstruction, the vehicles occupying the lane, and available parking nearby. Please dispatch Parking Enforcement to address this ongoing issue.

I would like to report a recurring late-night noise issue at 1047 Commonwealth Avenue. For the second night in a row, there has been a very loud gathering on the rooftop terrace of the building, with amplified DJ music continuing after midnight. I live in the neighboring Babcock Tower, and the music can be heard very clearly from inside my apartment and is seriously disturbing my sleep. I am submitting this report to formally document this recurring late-night noise issue. I would appreciate it if the appropriate department could look into this matter and help prevent it from continuing on future nights. Thank you.
