Service Request / Feedback Type: General Request / Police Detail Commendation Location: Corner of Hancock Street and Columbia Road, Boston, MA 02125 (Uphams Corner) Details / Description: I am writing as a resident and community advocate for Uphams Corner to share high praise and deep gratitude for Boston Police Officer Dorsainvil, Badge #5640. Officer Dorsainvil was actively working a eversource detail at the very busy and hazardous intersection of Hancock Street and Columbia Road. Instead of standing by play on his mobile telephone as seen by most Boston Police Officer, Ugh Rolling Eyes nor was being distracted by other nor law enforcement activities he was completely engaged, highly professional, and actively "pulling traffic" to maintain a safe, steady flow for both motorists and pedestrians. For the record, Columbia Road is a an incredible lifeline artery for the City of Boston Boston EMS. And, as we all know every second counts. At a difficult and dangerous juncture where our community worries about traffic safety, seeing an officer work this hard and care this much makes a massive difference. Officer Dorsainvil represents the absolute best of the Boston Police Department, and the residents of Uphams Corner are exceptionally proud and grateful to have had his dedicated presence on our streets today. Please pass along our sincere thanks and formal commendation to him and his command.
