Blue bike on someone's property next to Myers and change and peters park ball field

Street lights on on Warren and Dartmouth since 1am. Major intersection and the city has failed to get BPD to monitor the lights. I 911ed it and still no one there. This happened a month ago and there was an accident. Given that regular power outages here, the city needs to have a protocol so pedestrians stay safe.

The community is requesting immediate, physical in-presence selective traffic enforcement at this site. This location is a designated, logged entry within the Boston Police traffic enforcement book, and this physical presence is officially requested to be in effect from 10:00 AM until further notice. A high volume of residents continuously cross Columbia Road from the Hancock Street side to reach Dudley Street commercial businesses (including Uphams Corner Pizza). Field reports confirm a history of severe corridor collisions here, including an MBTA bus striking a pedestrian. Area command staff at District B-2 and C-11, alongside Duty Supervisor Sergeant Cox, have been formally notified. [THE CONSEQUENCES] The total absence of active, in-presence physical traffic enforcement introduces a severe, ongoing infrastructure hazard. Unchecked vehicle behavior creates an immediate physical danger to pedestrians. This lack of compliance explicitly blocks mobility and compromises public safety for our neighborhood's most vulnerable populations, including local seniors, students, and physically or visually challenged residents who cannot safely cross this primary corridor to access essential services. Immediate BPD Motor Squad or selective district physical deployment is required to secure this crosswalk in accordance with standing departmental directives.
