89-119 Canal St, Boston, MA 02114First, the T was advertised as having free fare during the Orange line closure, however North Station was still charging fare. Second, the closure listed on Boston.gov said “The MBTA will increase Green Line service during this time to accommodate Orange Line riders.” This is not the case. The green line is always packed full on a normal daily commute and there were not additional train cars and the trains do not seem to be running any more frequently to accommodate the thousands of additional Orange line regular passengers.
