565 E Seventh St, BostonResidents at 567 had a handicap spot installed several years ago in front of their property— they’ve since added a driveway directly where that spot was located and now have access to parking— on their property, in their driveway. There have been multiple requests to the city to REMOVE the spot as it’s now an active driveway and confusing. However, instead of removing the sign, the spot was accidentally moved in front of 565 E 7th street. According to city regulations listed on Boston.gov, a disabled person with access to a driveway is not eligible for an on street space. Please remove this sign immediately as it’s creating hardships for residents and visitors without access to off-street parking. As you will see from the photos, there is a driveway and at the end of the driveway the gray Nissan is the handicap placard vehicle.
