Would like to know and how this person at 7 Essex st Charlestown was allowed to block public property with access to to the back of my home by installing a locked gate to the public alley access to the rear of the homes both on Essex st and Main st ! This is also access for the Fire Dept in case of fire in these homes. Was the person issued a permit to install a locking gate on this Public Property? Please investigate.
