Subject: Urgent Safety Concern – Reckless Driving in South Bay Parking Garage (High-Speed Vehicles) Hello, I am writing to report a serious and ongoing safety concern at the South Bay Parking Garage (6-level structure, 95 Allstate Rd, Boston). I come here almost every day to eat and spend my work break here, and on multiple occasions every single day, I have observed vehicles driving at extremely dangerous speeds inside the garage—estimated around 50–70 mph while going up and down the ramps and levels. This behavior creates a significant risk of: * Pedestrian injury (many people are walking through the garage at all times) * Vehicle collisions on tight turns and blind corners * Loss of control on ramps and narrow lanes The garage environment is not designed for high-speed driving, and this type of reckless behavior places everyone at risk. I am requesting that this issue be reviewed urgently and that appropriate safety measures or enforcement be considered (speed bumps). The security guards at this location do nothing to prevent it or enforce anything as well. The whole garage shakes very hard when this happens. If I’m here for 30 minutes and this happens every day, imagine during the whole day how many times this is happening? Thank you for your attention to this serious matter. Sincerely,
