Sidewalk Not Shoveled
Intersection Of Beacon St And Chestnut Hill Ave, Brighton, MaThank you for sending out the heavy equipment today in response to the complaints about the snow in Cleveland Circle. The situation regarding pedestrian safety and ease of access is much improved. Snow Plowing/Salting
19 Mansur St, Roslindale, Ma, 02131My elderly neighbor and I both received extra snow due to the plows shifting the snow to the right side of the street when driving down the street. We truly appreciate the plows clearing the main road and salting the street. We had many cars struggling including emergency vehicles and City of Boston workers. But now we’re stuck shoveling more and more everyday, the snow is frozen now and after we initially cleared out the paths it seems unfair to receive the extra snow while the opposite side of our street did not receive the same gift of the extra snow. If the plows could come and clear out the snow and push it towards the bottom of the street on the right side close to the tree is would free up space for cars and pedestrians as all the areas we’ve continued to shovel seem to be filling up with snow. Thank you for your help and efforts in keeping the City of Boston streets safe especially for the elderly and those with handicaps or disabilities. It’s really tough for me especially having a child with a disability, it’s extremely disheartening to wake up and struggle every morning getting in and out of our car and driveway due to the extra snow.
