47 Ridgewood St, Boston, MA 02122

Report regarding a severe chemical air quality and safety hazard at 47 Ridgewood Street. I walk past this residential 3-decker building all the time, and there is frequently a highly acrid, overwhelming scent of burnt beans (which i suspect is fentanyl), marijuana, and melting chemical plastic blasting out of the structure. The fumes are strongly noticeable from the public sidewalk and pose a regular environmental hazard. The smell is incredibly heavy and suggests an unventilated indoor burn or hazardous chemical processing inside the lower level of the building, which poses an immediate fire risk to this wood-frame 3-decker and neighboring properties, there is also a unsealed basement window, a broken window on the front porch and a missing 3rd floor roof and railings. Requesting an urgent Inspectional Services (ISD) investigator check the property's common areas, ventilation, and lower unit to address the hazard.
