Rodent Activity
81 Appleton St, Boston, Ma, 02116There is recurring rat activity in the Clarendon/Appleton area, including past documented activity at 81 Appleton, 27 Appleton and the Appleton/Berkeley intersection. I am seeing rat activity around my property and the adjacent alley. Can you please conduct a coordinated inspection of the alley, tree pits, sidewalk/burrows, sewer catch basins and nearby trash storage rather than treating this as an isolated sighting. There has been a uprise in activity. In April we reported and the city services inspected and baited local sewers which lead to some visible improvements. We sited 6 rats on our walk home down Appleton at 8:30pm yesterday. One darted from our street level entry way. We do not store any trash in this area. Rat droppings on our walk way is a serious health concern. Thank you for your attention.
