Parking in front of fire hydrant

Access to public way has been blocked daily due to construction at 22 Harvard Street, Charlestown. Construction vehicles have been parked in the adjacent Harvard Place on a daily basis restricting safe access to the public way for residents of Harvard Place. There are days when 5 vehicles have been parked in Harvard Place. Neighboring residents have made multiple requests on multiple days to move vehicles. The offending activity has continued. Blocking Harvard Place is creating an unsafe condition for its residence including: 1. Access to a public way for residents with mobility issues. Harvard Place is cobble. Direct navigable sidewalks are necessary. 2. Children play in Harvard Place. Construction vehicles make the conditions unsafe for children. 3. Access for emergency vehicles is not feasible with vehicles parked in Harvard Place. I have attached a photo of the truck belonging to Ryan Masonry that parks on the sidewalk in Harvard Place every weekday from 8am - 3pm. I do not have a photo of a day when multiple construction vehicles are parked in Harvard Place. The contractor also failed to do any mitigation prior to demolition.
