  • Fallen Tree or Branches

138 Adams St, Boston, MA 02122

Dear Public Works Department, Thank you for responding to my previous request and removing some of the tree debris from my property. While I appreciate that action, the cleanup was unfortunately incomplete. As the attached photographs clearly show, a significant amount of large branches and debris remains on my property. During the visit, the crew also removed only a very small branch from the tree itself, despite the fact that I reported a much larger failure that caused damage to my home. Their actions gave the impression that the seriousness of the situation was being minimized rather than properly addressed. This is not simply a matter of yard debris. The remaining branches continue to create a safety hazard for my tenants, visitors, and anyone using the alley. In addition, the public tree still has overgrown and damaged limbs that require proper trimming to prevent another branch from falling and causing further property damage or personal injury. I respectfully request that the City: Return to remove all remaining branches and debris left on my property. Conduct a thorough inspection of the public tree. Properly trim and maintain the tree to eliminate any hazardous or overhanging limbs. Confirm when this work will be scheduled and completed. Please review the attached photographs, which document the debris that remains and the current condition of the tree. I ask that this matter be addressed promptly to ensure the area is made safe and to prevent future incidents. Thank you for your prompt attention. I look forward to your response and a complete resolution of this issue. Sincerely,
