1230-1264 Washington St, Boston, MA 02118Follow-Up 311 Report – Continuing Disturbance and Illegal Parking at Alex Pizza Date: Saturday, August 8, 2026 2:21 am Location: Alex Pizza, 1250 Washington Street, Boston, MA 02118 This report is a follow-up to my earlier report and 911 call at approximately 1:04 a.m. today regarding a disturbance and multiple vehicles illegally parked in the bus/bike lane outside Alex Pizza. Boston Police arrived at approximately 1:09 a.m., had the illegally parked vehicles moved, and remained at the location for approximately 30 minutes investigating the disturbance. However, at approximately 2:21 a.m., shortly after police had left, the same activity resumed. I observed at least five vehicles illegally parked in the same bus/bike lane spaces directly in front of Alex Pizza. Tim’e stamped picture attached. One individual associated with one of the illegally parked vehicles was repeatedly banging his hand against the roof of the vehicle while loud music was being blasted. The noise was clearly audible from inside my apartment. I recorded videos documenting the activity, and a decibel measurement taken from inside my apartment showed noise levels reaching approximately 70 dB. Most concerning is the impact these repeated overnight disturbances are having on my health and well-being. After being awakened by the initial disturbance, calling 911, and then experiencing another disturbance shortly after police left, I measured my blood pressure at 150/98. The repeated late-night noise and activity are preventing me from sleeping and are causing significant stress inside my own home. This is no longer simply an isolated noise or parking complaint. The recurring disturbances during overnight hours are interfering with my sleep, peaceful enjoyment of my home, and physical well-being. Despite police intervention tonight, the illegal parking and disruptive activity returned within approximately one hour. I have time-stamped photographs, video recordings, and decibel measurements documenting these conditions. I am requesting that the City investigate this ongoing pattern of late-night disturbances, repeated illegal parking in the bus/bike lane, and excessive noise associated with activity outside Alex Pizza, particularly given the continuing impact on nearby residents and my health.
