  • Residential Trash out Illegally

32 Wayne St, Dorchester, Ma, 02121

This property has been the subject of ongoing sanitation and maintenance concerns. There have been repeated issues with trash and garbage not being properly stored or maintained on the property, resulting in recurring debris and litter concerns affecting the surrounding neighborhood. Most recently, following landscaping work at the property, contractors left substantial yard waste, branches, leaves, and other debris in the roadway and along the curb immediately after street cleaning. The debris was not properly collected or removed and has been left in the public way. In addition, a sharp metal object was left on the public sidewalk, creating a potential safety hazard for pedestrians, children, pets, bicyclists, and vehicles. Photos of the debris and metal object are attached. There are also ongoing instances of vehicles being repaired on the property. Automotive work is regularly conducted in the yard, and if such activity is not permitted at this residential property, I request that it be reviewed by the appropriate department. Due to the ongoing trash, debris, and poor property maintenance, there has also been a noticeable increase in rat activity in the area. The conditions at the property appear to be contributing to an ongoing rodent problem within the neighborhood. This is a recurring issue at this address and has been reported previously. I respectfully request an inspection of the property and enforcement of all applicable sanitation, property maintenance, rodent control, zoning, and public safety requirements. Photos attached.
