Traffic Signal at 178 Brooks St, Apt 1, East Boston

Please add stop sign to the corner of Brooks and Eutaw Street. Accidentals occur at intersection cars drive at high rate of speed.
CLOSED Case Resolved. Thank you for contacting the Boston Transportation Department. Please know that federal criteria in the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD) prevents cities and towns from installing stop signs for speed control (Section 2B.04). Stop signs installed for speed control in the past have been found to be counterproductive, and have increased mid-block speeds between stop signs and reduced compliance at stop signs. Stop signs are installed for right of way access. Corner restrictions and pedestrian warning signs will be installed to improve the visibility at this intersection. Thank you. - 1 day ago #101002979502
