Hello, I've been complaining to 311 for since September about the noise from a loose cover on the street. Each time a car drives over the cover, it makes a very loud CLANK CLANK. As you can imagine, this is a very busy area so during the day it will happen every 3 seconds with traffic. EVERY THREE SECONDS. I work from home... At night, the area is quiet and this sound has become unbearable. Even with my windows closed, the noise travels between the buildings and amplifies with my apartment being on the 7th floor facing Boylston. We have unbearable nightly street construction work recently just to the left at Tremont. My building does not provide AC during this time of year, only forcing heat. It is unbearably hot and I do not have the option of keeping a window open at night. I was recently contacted by Boston Sewer and Water after 311 deferred to them and me complaining for this length of time. I have sent photos, videos, screenshots of the location. I witnessed a truck come out but the workers did not fix the issue. The supervisor called me and was very nice but again, no resolution. I’ve been complaining since September. I should not have to contact BWSC personally to have this addressed. I can't take this anymore. It's 2:00 am and I'm being woken up by this. Please help. THIS NEEDS TO BE FIXED NOW.
