Street Light Outage
1 Larchmont St, BostonStreet lights on Larchmont Street, Dorchester, frequently go out for short periods of time leaving the entire street pitch black. Tonight was Halloween, children and adults walking in unfamiliar territory and street lights just going dark. This has been happening for months-maybe years-and it took frightened children about to fall down on the sidewalk to prompt this report. The lights return every time, but this can't be the way this is supposed to work. It "feels" like a loose wire in a lamp, but the whole block. Sorry, can't take a photo of a completely dark street.
