- That's great! So essentially the basketball hoop that is in the street taking up at least one parking space is NOT considered a code enforcement. This is so great. I'm going to put a parklet in front of my house - it'd be taking up the same room - so I can't see how possibly mine would be any different. So happy to have this clarified that it's not a code enforcement issue. This would be the same as a winter space saver too, right? The hoop has been up all summer acting as such so, yeah ... space savers are not a code enforcement. Thank you again for the helpful clarification.
