The Boston Public Works Construction Inspection Unit (CIU) has contacted Eversource Electric, and ordered that the sinkhole be investigated and repaired under our sinkhole repair guidelines.

Because of dig safe requirements the repair may have to wait a few days. The permiteee is responsible to place a temporary repair until then

The location has been added to our database that tracks sinkholes.

The CIU Inspector will monitor the progress of the repair.
