Description: Drivers headed south on 5th st very often blow through the stop sign to turn left on 1st Ave without stopping. This poses a danger especially to the many pedestrians and cyclists in the area. 1st Ave is used by hundreds of cyclists commuting to MGH research labs in the Navy Yard every day. Improved stop sign visibility (flashing lights) or stepped up traffic enforcement could be helpful here.
