- Uneven Sidewalk / Pedestrian Safety Hazard The sidewalk crossing in front of my home is severely uneven and deteriorated. There are significant changes in grade between the concrete sidewalk, asphalt section, grass edge, and curb that create a serious tripping and fall hazard for pedestrians. This is especially concerning for children, older residents, people pushing strollers, and anyone with mobility limitations. The condition is also likely to become more dangerous during rain, snow, and icy conditions. I am requesting that Boston Public Works please inspect this location and repair or reconstruct the uneven section so that there is a safe, level walking surface for pedestrians. Please evaluate this as a pedestrian safety/sidewalk repair issue. Thank you.
