- Apartment building has turned on heat. Apartment unit with open window, 2 fans, and portable ac unit is reading at 86 degrees F. Property suggested leaving my window open to offset the heat. I have purchased the portable ac unit and extra fan since the heat has been turned on. With these solutions in place, the apartment is still 86 degree. Please keep this anonymous!!
