  • Other

Intersection Of Pond Cir And Pond St, Jamaica Plain, Ma

I spoke to a ranger and the "office" at Jamaica Pond and reached out to you folks around 3 years ago when I first noted that Jamaica pond had invasive plants. The "invasion" is starting to take over the pond. There seems to be no Boston department that specifically deals with ponds/water issues but if this is not taken seriously NOW, there will be no mitigation (admittedly it may well be too late). I don't know which species has invaded. Also, it has to be the case that the other ponds on the waterway are also starting to get choked. Go on-line to see what invaded ponds look like or better yet, walk around Jamaica Pond (happy to meet someone to show them). I would like to be contacted by someone who is responsible for this kind of work. | Case (SR) Type: [Miscellaneous] Referred To: [ENVIRONMENT, ENERGY, & OPEN SPACE]
