All around Codman Square many drivers seem to be unaware of the state law that pedestrians have the right way when crossing the crosswalk. It is very rare for drivers to slow down even if they are more than 10 feet away from the crosswalk and pedestrians are generally waiting long times before they can cross. I would recommend that more signs be placed to remind people of the state law. I’ve lived here for two years and it’s been a big problem that I have never seen in any other neighborhood of Boston. There is something specific about Codman square that needs an extra level of education to all the drivers.
