These bike lanes and “one lane” streets have caused more harm than good! My car was struck last night while parked legally on the street. Originally, we could park at the curb. Your car would be safe and never hit. My car has been hit multiple times because of this set up. The city has done nothing to make this safe for residents who have lived here for a long time. Pushing these bike lane agendas when no one in their right mind will ride a bike down crazy American Legion. This is ridiculous and the city should be liable for my damage.
CLOSED #101006163615Case Resolved. The way that this street was spaced previously spaced set parked cars no further from the driving lane than the current design does. Additionally, visual narrowing of streets has been shown to reduce driving speeds, making parked cars and pedestrians safer overall. It saddens us to hear about your damaged vehicle, and we will work to better protect parked cars it the future, but with that being said it is important to note that the new design does not place parked cars along American legion at a heightened risk.

Dangerous bike path (even for me but especially with my kids) from well defined in green and safe to completely chaotic especially between Clarendon and Dartmouth on Columbus Ave it switches from right side to middle! No ability to turn right on Dartmouth to connect to SW corridor.
CLOSED #101006162820Case Resolved. We share your concerns relating to a lack of bike lane safety at this intersection, and will be working the the future to replace what is currently there with a more protected option. In the meantime, this transition from left to middle is the only way to maintain a visible bike lane presence on this street.

You created bike lanes to have fewer cars and less pollution, but you don't give crap about the toxic chemicals that all the fireworks are leaching into the earth and the waterways. Not to mention the harm to the mental health of people and pets.

This bike lane is too dangerous. We need the ability for people on bikes to make left turns. And then if they want to go from Stuart to Charles St South they have to cross from the bike lane over two car lanes to get into the bike lane that starts again on the right side of the road. So dangerous!
CLOSED #101006159235Case Resolved. A bicyclist or car shouldn't be turning off of Stuart St. right onto Charles St. South. That road is a one-way towards Stuart. Bicyclists that need to cross Stuart to turn left can dismount their bikes and use pedestrian crosswalks.

I don't see a street cleaning category available to select, however, Cambridge Street in Allston needs a thorough cleaning, especially in the bike/bus lanes, due to trucks exiting the CSX yards dragging dirt and sand from unpaved roads.
CLOSED #101006155014Please notify Boston 311 if this has not been resolved. Thank you.
