This mattress has been here for 3 weeks now, it’s a shared alleyway. Last time they left the mattress like that it attracted rats as a shelter (nest?). The landlord rarely visits the property and did nothing when I told him. Is there anything you can do?

The back of 86 Charles St faces Mount Vernon Square/Public Alley 301, which is in between Mt. Vernon St and Pinckeney St. 86 Charles is in between 6 Mt Vernon Sq and 10 Mount Vernon Sq. Look for a brick parking lot in between between 2 fenced patios. You will see a black door with 86. Cars may be parked and blocking the view of the trash. ____ Owners repeatedly refuse to manage trash properly, even though it attracts rats, bugs, and smells into my apartment, which is next to the trash bins. I have tried addressing this with the old ownership for 3 years and the new ownership,.and nothing has been done, depsite it being in violation of many health/safety/sanitation codes.

Dumpster lid broken in parking lot, trash is going everywhere in the parking lot and the yards. also a mattress that sits next to the trash that has been there for 4+ months

Re response for 101006440500. There is a matress stuffed under the left side of the stairs leading to the porch. HOW can a mattress under the front porch, visible from the sidewalk NOT be a violation. It was on the lawn, now under those front porch stairs which are open on all sides - on the left. Only thing visible feom this angle is right side. Maybe someone can check again tomorrow. Thanks, appreciative
