I'm writing to request the immediate removal of the Israeli flag currently displayed in front of City Hall. In May 2024, the Boston City Council adopted a resolution calling for a ceasefire in Gaza. Flying the Israeli flag at City Hall runs counter to the spirit of that resolution, and does not meet the requirements of a 2022 City of Boston ordinance, which only allows for flags that represent the City's values.
